About JazzPath:

JazzPath is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) jazz music education program.  From our location at DC Rehearsal Studios and Soundstage in West Palm Beach, we run weekly 3-hour ensemble lessons throughout the school year.  We also run two weeks of camp in the summer.  JazzPath is no boring music lesson! Our dynamic music director and his staff break students into various ensembles allowing them to learn and progress with students of similar abilities and experience.  Breakout sessions for specific parts and instruments allow students to delve deeper into their part of the whole.   Our students receive one-on-one attention during ensemble playing allowing each to reach their full potential.  JazzPath also brings in experts in their field to work directly with our young musicians and we encourage students to work on more than one instrument.  We focus on the balance within ensembles which allows each student to shine, whether learning from their instructors, or from each other.

JazzPath is also focused on helping young people in our community have the chance to learn to play music even if they can't afford lessons or an instrument.  Our paid students and donations from the community allow us to offer sliding scale payment options, full scholarships for weekly sessions and our programs in the community will be at no cost to participants.  We know the impact playing music has on developing minds, and we are committed to giving the opportunity to every child that wants to play.
